This policy explains how PlainShip (“we”, “us”), operated by Devolity, handles personal data on plainship.dev and in the hosted application at app.plainship.dev.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: username, email address, password hash and optional profile details you add.
- Workspace data: hosts, projects, playbooks, scripts and secrets you store. Secrets and keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- Usage data: sign-ins, pages used and job results, if “Share usage data” is switched on in your profile.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form or support requests.
2. How we use it
We use personal data to provide and secure the service, verify your email address, answer your questions, process upgrades and improve the product. We never sell your data.
3. Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations and, for optional usage data, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Retention
We keep account data while your account exists. Logs are kept for the retention period set by the platform. When you delete your account, your workspace is removed.
5. Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data at any time from Users & sign-in → Privacy & your rights in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies
