Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. There is no trial period and no credit card. You keep the core features — deployments, terminal, SFTP and the vault — within the Free limits.
What exactly is limited on Free?
Free accounts include 1 project with up to 5 hosts, 5 playbooks and 5 saved scripts. Apps, the terminal, SFTP and the vault work the same as on Pro. Cron schedules are a Pro feature.
Are schedules included in the Free plan?
No. Scheduled automation — cron jobs for commands, scripts, playbooks, deploys and health checks — is part of Pro. On Free you can run all of these by hand at any time.
Does Pro cover my whole team?
Yes. Pro applies to your organization, so every member you add enjoys unlimited projects, hosts, playbooks and scripts.
Do you charge per server?
No. PlainShip never charges per host, per job or per minute. Pro is one flat monthly price.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. If you cancel, your account returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, and you can export your data at any time.
I have an upgrade code. How do I use it?
Sign in, open Plan & billing and enter the code under “Have an upgrade code?”. Pro is applied to your account and organization immediately.
